Spring Term Begins College for Older Adults Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center
The College for Older Adults (COA) announces the spring term on April 8 – May 15, 2014. The program is open to individuals 50 years old and older. Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning at 9:00 am. Tuition is $40.00 and includes enrollment to any and all of the classes. One-day special classes and field trips are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. An additional fee will be charged for supplies/materials on selected special classes/field trips. Numerous classes are being offered and include these topics:

The College for Older Adults is for individuals 50 and over. The program provides opportunities to teach and lean. Students are encourages to suggest classes, network with other students and instructors, and contribute to the enriching exchange of ideas that forms the wellspring of the classroom environment. At the COA, lifelong learners meet new friends, gain insight from others, contribute by sharing personal experiences, and continue to stretch their capabilities. Come grow with us!
